We visit Franschhoek and Stellenbosch where we will indulge in wine tastings and enjoy a lunch. Stellenbosch is the 2nd oldest town after Cape Town in South Africa. It is a university town with oak lined streets and quaint coffee shops. There is an option of doing a tour of the heritage houses which show the changes through the ages (entrance fee of ZAR75.00 for your own account). Beautiful scenery abounds all around and the short pass between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek has lovely views. There are countless estates along the way and one is spoilt for choice. Franschhoek is a very popular town with the main road filled with small shops and side walk restaurants.
