Overview

Located just 20 minutes from Jeffreys Bay and 40 minutes from Gqeberha, Simbonga Game Farm & Sanctuary offers a unique, ethical wildlife experience set against 160 hectares of sweeping plains and mountain views.

In partnership with Warriors of Wildlife NPC, the lion sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused wild animals, currently providing a forever home to 14 lions and Gina the tiger. Beyond the big cat tours, visitors can explore the reserve through 4x4 self-game drives or hiking and nature trails to spot free-roaming wildlife, including giraffe, zebra, and blue wildebeest

Management
The sanctuary is managed by Keegan Smith and Lauren Kylie, who bring extensive experience with big cats and wildlife rehabilitation. Lauren also cares for monkeys, bats, and birds, ensuring holistic conservation efforts.
