Your Itinerary

Day 1
Your adventure begins at 08:00 with collection from your accommodation in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) or Jeffreys Bay. From there, we journey directly into the heart of Tsitsikamma National Park, a region celebrated for its dramatic coastline, ancient forests, and rich biodiversity.

The day begins with a walk through coastal fynbos and towering indigenous trees to the iconic Storms River Suspension Bridge. Suspended 77 metres above the river mouth, the bridge offers breathtaking views where the river meets the Indian Ocean – a perfect moment to take in the natural splendour of this extraordinary location.

After your hike, you’ll embark on your chosen adventure. If you opt for the Kayak and Lilo Adventure, prepare for a two-and-a-half-hour journey into the majestic Storms River Gorge. You’ll paddle through glassy, black-water pools, float beneath towering canyon walls, and explore hidden caves in one of the Garden Route’s most spectacular natural wonders. (Wetsuit and water shoe rental not included.)

If kayaking isn’t for you, you can pre-book an alternative experience. Choose from a thrilling Bungee Jump or Sky Walk at Bloukrans Bridge, a scenic Segway Forest Tour, a high-flying Canopy Zipline, an exhilarating Black Water Tubing session, or the historically rich Woodcutter’s Journey.

For animal lovers, nearby sanctuaries offer unforgettable, ethical wildlife encounters. Spend time with rescued primates at Monkeyland, walk through the world’s largest free-flight aviary at Birds of Eden, meet gentle giants at the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary, or explore the fascinating world of reptiles at the Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary.

Later in the day, take time to relax over lunch in Storms River Village. Enjoy a retro dining experience at Marilyn’s 60’s Diner or sample a locally brewed craft beer at the Tsitsikamma Microbrewery. (Lunch is at your own expense. A R250 voucher is included in selected tour options.)

Settle in at one of the region’s charming overnight accommodations. Whether you prefer a cosy forest cabin, an eco-lodge, a boutique guesthouse, or a family-friendly stay, Tsitsikamma offers a restful end to your first day.

Day 2
Wake up to the fresh forest air and a wholesome breakfast before checking out and embarking on another day of discovery.

Begin with an exhilarating Canopy Zipline Adventure, soaring between platforms suspended high in the forest canopy. Enjoy bird’s-eye views of the surrounding treetops as you glide through the indigenous landscape, surrounded by birdsong and fresh Tsitsikamma air.

After ziplining, the day remains flexible with a variety of optional experiences to choose from. Continue your adventure with a second activity that suits your interests and pace. You might opt for a Black Water Tubing journey through the Storms River’s natural channels, a visit to the Big Tree, or a return to one of the wildlife sanctuaries for a deeper look at their conservation work. Alternatively, enjoy the forest on a Quadbike Tour, try your hand at Archery, take on another Bungee Jump or Sky Walk, or explore again with a Segway Forest Tour.

When it’s time to refuel, enjoy a relaxed lunch at the Tsitrus Café, a welcoming café-deli set in a beautiful garden in Storms River Village. Surrounded by fragrant orange trees and warmed by a wood-fired pizza oven, it's the perfect spot to reflect on your adventure.
