Hop on a self-balancing Segway and roll through the village and into the forest, discovering giant trees and peaceful paths with a local guide.

Lunch Stop
Enjoy a well-earned lunch at your own pace in Storms River Village. Choose from the quirky, retro charm of Marilyn’s 60’s Diner or the laid-back craft brews and local flavours of Tsitsikamma Microbrewery. A R250 lunch voucher is included.
This full-day adventure begins at 08:00 with collection from your accommodation in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) or Jefferys Bay. From there, we journey straight to the heart of Tsitsikamma National Park, one of South Africa’s most scenic and biologically diverse coastal reserves.
Your experience starts with a guided walk through lush, indigenous forest to the Storms River Suspension Bridge. Suspended 77 metres across the mouth of the Storms River, the bridge offers dramatic views where the river meets the Indian Ocean, an ideal moment to soak up the tranquillity and power of this natural wonder.
After the hike, you'll embark on your chosen activity. If you select the Kayak and Lilo Adventure, prepare for a two-and-a-half-hour exploration of the Storms River Gorge. Paddle through dark, serene pools and into hidden caves, surrounded by towering cliffs and dense forest. This is a uniquely peaceful and immersive way to experience the untouched wilderness. (Please note: wetsuit and water shoe rental are at your own cost.)
If kayaking isn't your preference, you may instead pre-book from a range of exciting alternatives: leap with a Bungee Jump or Sky Walk at Bloukrans Bridge, glide through the forest on a 1- or 2-hour Segway Tour, soar above the canopy on a Zipline Tour, get wet with Black Water Tubing, or delve into local heritage on the Woodcutter’s Journey.
Animal lovers may wish to visit one of the region’s ethical wildlife sanctuaries. Nearby options include Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, the Knysna Elephant Sanctuary, or Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary, all offering intimate and educational encounters with rescued animals in natural environments.
