Day 1: Gateway to Route 62: Montagu's Scenic Marvels
Begin your adventure by departing from Cape Town and travelling through breathtaking mountain passes on Route 62. Stop at the Ronnies Sex Shop, a quirky pub, before enjoying a wine tasting and lunch at De Krans Wines. Continue to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world, where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: Oudtshoorn's Ostriches and Cango Caves
Interact with ostriches at Highgate Ostrich Show Farm and explore the stunning Cango Caves on a heritage tour. Weather permitting, journey through the iconic Swartberg Pass for panoramic views. Arrive in the artistic town of Prince Albert for a Ghost Walk to uncover local tales.
Day 3: Meiringspoort, Outeniqua Pass, and Knysna
Travel through Meiringspoort to see a remarkable waterfall, conquer the Outeniqua Pass, and arrive in charming Knysna. Check-in at Portland Manor, a historic estate. Enjoy an Olive Tour, visit Meiringspoort Waterfall, and take in the stunning views from Outeniqua Pass.
Day 4: Knysna's Natural Wonders
Explore Featherbed Nature Reserve, encounter elephants at Knysna Elephant Park, and marvel at the dramatic Knysna Heads. Return to Portland Manor for relaxation or an optional dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5: Nature's Valley and Thrilling Bridges
