Christiana Lodge

Christiana Lodge is a highly recommended Plettenberg Bay guest home that offers 11 guest rooms to tourists visiting the Garden Route region.

It is an architect-designed lodge located in Solar Beach's exclusive enclave, between Robberg Beach and the Brakkloof Wetland. Robberg Beach is only a five-minute walk away along a wooden boardwalk. The distance to town is approximately 4.5 kilometres.

The lodge overlooks the Brakkloof Wetland, a generally overlooked natural feature of the Plettenberg Bay area. There are extensive panoramic views, including the massive bald outcrop of the Robberg Nature Sanctuary and the rugged cliffs of Whale Rock Ridge.

The 11 spacious bedrooms are luxurious yet uncluttered, with custom-made king-size mattresses, fresh white linen, and soft furniture that reflect the best of South African style. Internet access, flat-screen televisions with satellite television, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, safes, and bar fridges are all available in the bedrooms. VIP Privacy is also ensured by the design of the rooms and balconies.

Bedrooms are classified into three types:

Superior:
Eight extra-large rooms with balconies and views of the wetland, the nature reserve opposite the lodge, and Robberg. Three of the better rooms have outdoor showers, and one has a private terrace with two loungers.

Luxury:
Two large rooms with balconies and views of the wetland and natural park across the street from the lodge.

Deluxe:
A large room with a daybed for a child that overlooks the pool area.

Each bathroom includes underfloor heating, a bath, and a shower. The windows are strategically positioned over the steel enamel-coated German baths to provide views of the surrounding countryside.

Breakfast And Dining

Breakfast:
Between 08:30 and 10:00, a gourmet breakfast of fruit juice, fresh fruit, homemade muesli, yoghurt, honey, bacon and eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes, and pancakes is offered.

Dinner
Home-cooked meals are prepared on request.
