Tsitsikamma Village Inn, located in the lovely Garden Route village of Storms River, offers a unique form of accommodation and a break from the rat race and hectic lifestyles of our time. They provide accommodation in 53 guest rooms for tourists visiting the Tsitsikamma region. The majority of their rooms are set around a traditional village green. These structures show many of the various architectural types that might have been found in the Cape Colony throughout the 1800s.

There are rooms in this village for all, from humble foresters to the grand Landdrost, from simple fishing folk to the Dominee. All the cottages are decorated accordingly: cool creams and lime-washed pine furniture in the fisherman’s cottages; intricate woodwork in the Pastorie; ethnic African designs in the Karoo townhouses.

All rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms, televisions, phones, and air conditioners. Except for the wooden-floored Arniston Fishing cottages, all rooms have wall-to-wall carpeting.

The rustic log dwellings on the other side of the village were erected among the gnarled fruit trees that constituted the original arbour.

The Oude Martha Restaurant serves hearty and delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Other popular on-site restaurants include the charming Hunter’s Pub and the informal Cafe Bacchus. Next door to the hotel is Marilyn’s 60s Diner, where you’ll enjoy a trip down memory lane with vintage motorcycles, cars, memorabilia, and a typical diner menu. Enjoy an ale or lager at their microbrewery, which also offers a number of other South African craft beers.

Guests are welcome to relax around the sparkling swimming pool, visit the hair salon or entertain themselves in the games room. There is complimentary WIFI access available throughout the hotel. The Barn, built in the late 1800s as stables for travellers’ horses, was converted in 1996 to cosy bedrooms. Each room has a double bed, coffee/tea tray, air conditioner, electrical blanket, television and shower or bath.

The West Log Rooms are Swiss-style, double-storey chalets built in 1988. The building is situated around a fountain and offers beautiful views from all rooms. Each room has either twin beds or double beds, an air conditioner, television, electrical blanket, safe, telephone, coffee/tea tray, shower, and bath.
