Tube 'n Axe Backpackers is nestled in the heart of the Storms River Village, 14 kilometres from Tsitsikamma National Park.
The lodge can accommodate up to 70 guests at any time. There are chalets, double rooms, dorms with ample mattresses, and an elevated bush campsite for tents. The restrooms, both private and shared, have a shower and a toilet.
Their clean and comfortable private rooms are great for small groups of friends wishing to socialise while keeping their privacy. Linen, duvets, throws, pillows, scatter cushions, and towels are all included in the rates.
The dormitories are great for single travellers who want to save money on their hotel room while keeping their possessions safe. The lodge rooms and log cabins are clean and roomy, making them suitable for couples, families, or small groups of friends looking for comfortable seclusion at a low cost. Linen, duvets, throws, pillows, scatter cushions, towels, and a tea/coffee station are provided as part of your stay.
The lodge has a massive, clean, and indigenous garden that has been groomed to provide private Storms River camping for individuals who enjoy the great outdoors. The hostel features several braai areas and a well-equipped self-catering kitchen. Storms River Camping offers a steady supply of Karoo meats that make for a fantastic braai pack, which can be purchased from their reception. There is a rustic African stone rondavel that provides a central ablution facility for hot showers and a zesty outdoor atmosphere.
Activities: Black Water tubing experiences are available all year, and the experience ranges from a white-water action-packed roller coaster ride (maximum grade two rapids) to a relaxed day out in nature with optional tube jumps.
