IKWANITSHA LODGE is an hour's drive from GQEBERHA(PE) in South Africa's malaria-free Eastern Cape. The lodge is set in a classic South African bush landscape and has its own wildlife population. Their four chalets, each with a big veranda, have a spectacular view of the nearby gorge and the BUSHMANS RIVER.
Ikwanitsha is a great place to start for day trips to ADDO ELEPHANT NATIONAL PARK and safaris to other game reserves, including SCHOTIA SAFARIS PRIVATE GAME RESERVE.
On the 300-hectare estate, you may see zebras, ostriches, and many antelope species. You can also explore the country's distinctive vegetation and experience stunning sunsets – all in a secluded setting away from daily stress.
Accommodation on offer:
The four guest accommodations, built on wooden poles, offer stunning views of the adjacent valley, the Bushmans River, and the Zuurberg Mountains' foothills. Each chalet sleeps two people and has a queen-size bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a covered porch.
